Our Management Company

Make sure that you ring reception to let them know in advance approximately the time you intend to arrive; this should ideally be late afternoon, but if you arrive early you can leave your baggage in reception until the chalet is ready for you (normally 17:00 but can often be earlier due to the Sunday changeover).

They will sort out the tourist tax (c.1.50 euros per person over the age of 18 per night if you have not booked with Vrbo/Abritel, who will already have charged you), and the refundable security payment (card swipe). You will then be directed to the chalet and of course the reception team are there to answer any queries you have as they arise.

Extra Services

Lift passes - if you have ordered via Alpine Essence, you just pick them up at the reception (order at least 2 weeks before your arrival). Lift passes, ski hire, lessons.
Bread orders - 6 styles of bread, croissants and pain aux chocolat can be delivered to your chalet door every morning. They just ring the bell and go. Delivery is free - well worth it!

Arrival

Parking

Unless the snow is really deep, you can get your car down almost to the front of the chalet. Loading in and out is very simple from there. Free parking is just above the chalet. You will not need a car during your stay unless you particularly wish to go sight-seeing perhaps in the Vanoise Valley or go shopping in Aime (Leclerc + really good micro brewery pub opposite) or Bourg (SuperU, Intermarché, Aldi, Lidl).

Keys

When you book in at the reception they will give you the temporary code to the key safe for your visit.
If you think that you will be arriving outside of office hours then when you ring to confirm your arrival time they will give you the code and you will be able to officially book in the following day - please read the information below for telephone numbers.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel up to 86 days prior to departure: 20% of the holiday price. If you cancel 57 to 87 days prior to departure: 30% of the holiday price. If you cancel 29 to 56 days prior to departure: 40% of the holiday price. If you cancel 15 to 28 days prior to departure: 50% of the holiday price If you cancel less than 15 days prior to departure: 100% of the holiday price.
